ELECTRIC EARTH entered Studio Deadline on January 12 to record a brand new song as well as a few covers. According to a posting on the group's web site, "the covers will feature some surprise guest artists. The plan is to release this recording as an exclusive vinyl-EP (only available through the band and their official web site) at the same time as the new CD will hit the stores. The EP will be produced by the band and Valle Adzic from IMPIOUS. It will be an exciting meeting between one of Swedish death metal's most skilled representatives, the hard-rocking and groovy ELECTRIC EARTH and their guests."
ELECTRIC EARTH will release its second album, "Vol II - Words Unspoken", this spring via Mausoleum Records. The band's debut CD, "Organic Songs - Volume One", came out in 2004 through Phantom Music.
ELECTRIC EARTH, which cites its influences as KISS, BLACK SABBATH, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and SOUNDGARDEN, recently parted ways with founding member/drummer Lars Berger and replaced him with Magnus Olsson.
